In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.


The Prophet frowned and turned away

[80:1] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].

[80:2] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified

[80:3] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?

[80:4] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



As for he who thinks himself without need,

[80:5] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



To him you give attention.

[80:6] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.

[80:7] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]

[80:8] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



While he fears [ Allah ],

[80:9] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



From him you are distracted.

[80:10] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;

[80:11] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



So whoever wills may remember it.

[80:12] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



[It is recorded] in honored sheets,

[80:13] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



Exalted and purified,

[80:14] Abasa (He Frowned)

Sahih International



[Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,

[80:15] Abasa (He Frowned)
